Tricks and Trouble Shooting for playing Smash the Beats

You made a high score and it doesn’t appear? Then click in another song and go back to the one where you made the high score and it will appear. Or wait a few seconds and it updates. Btw the high score list: it’s a nice twist that you don’t always see the top ten, but then just 3-4 of the high scorers and always your own position with your ranking.
The saber is a little out of sync? Just push your sync button and it goes back to normal. Or, I think at least, start one song and it is back to normal anyway. If that doesn't help, end the app and start it again.
Use different tools – for me it feels as if the hammer hits more targets, but others love the sword or the shield. So just try out what works best for you.
Look at the boxes. That is a thing you learn in many sports like table tennis and Kendo: look at what you hit, then its harder to miss it. Although then maybe you are not prepared for the next box coming directly at you. So my tip: first look at the boxes until you have a feeling for where they are and whether you hit them and then, when you are better, go to face the coming boxes.
On the start screen, you want to change the song and it doesn't change? Hold the trigger longer on the new song or click in the scroll bar and scroll up and down, then click again on the song.
