Gameplay Tips for Smash the Beats

There are some things that make "Smash The Beats" more fun. I wouldn't go so far as to say its Configurations, but you can change some things.

  • Hammer, Sword and Shield: try with any of them, I am highly in favour of the hammer, my wife loves the sword. The shield leads you into a different kind of game - you are not able to hit in any direction, obviously, so you only get switchen (the gear wheels), but quite a lot of them. Has lots of skulls, hard to not explode them!
  • Adjust the sound to your tool: if you use the sword, go for sfx 1 or 2 - the button in the left corner under the song display. For the hammer go for sfx 3 or 4. 1 or 2 are swooshing noises, 3 and 4 are hitting noises. They give you a better feel in the game.
  • Adjust the visuals: vfx, the right button under the song display, lets you see the points you made. The more you are in rhythm, the higher the points. I personally find it too much, as there is already quite something happening on the screen.
  • And a general thing, space: be sure to have enough free space around you, I am quite careful, but as you don't see, keep the distance!
